OMNIO at MAF 2024
OMNIO invites you to the MAF, Milan Audiovisual Forum, the new event dedicated to audiovisual and broadcast, where we will have a prominent presence by setting up a Virtual Production set-up and hosting a masterclass dedicated to Virtual Production! The fully operational virtual production set-up will allow participants to experience this exciting new technology and showcase our top products in action: • the brand-new PIXERA Four RS ADA media servers, the most powerful media server on the market • the latest ROE Ruby RB1.9BV2 LED screen, featuring a wide color gamut, high refresh rate, and low reflectivity • the Helios processor from Megapixel VR, which enables the use of advanced technologies like GhostFrame, Sub-Framing, SMPTE ST 2110, and 8K • Stage Precision, an essential software for managing multiple tracking systems and handling lens calibrations • the RedSpy tracking system from stYpe. We look forward to seeing many of you at the masterclass titled “A Comprehensive and International Overview of Virtual Production”, where speakers Luca Murer (OMNIO), Helmut Protte (AV Stumpfl), Erik Baum (ROE Visual), Brian Schmucker (Megapixel VR), and Michael Giegerich (Stage Precision) will clarify why Virtual Production is increasingly emerging as a technology across various sectors (Cinema, Broadcast, and Corporate Installations). They will dive into the individual components that contribute to shaping this emerging technology, the challenges to be faced, and future prospects, focusing on the current international landscape. The masterclass will be held on October 29th at 4:00 PM in the Sagittarius Hall and on October 30th at 12:00 PM in the Aquarius Hall. Lastly, our Luca Murer will speak on October 30th at 2:45 PM during the panel “Virtual Production for Cinema, Advertising, and TV Series” in a roundtable discussion that will explore the convergence of physical and virtual production scenarios.
